Lately the hair trend is everyday women wearing celebrity quality wigs. So why are so many people falling in love with this trend? I can tell you my reasons, but first let's dispose some myths about wigs.
First myth when pertaining to wigs is that only old ladies wear wigs. Who came up with this foolishness? I mean honestly some of the most famous women you can think of have a worn a wig from time to time. Let's see Beyonce', Jennifer Lopez, Katie Perry, Wendy Williams, Rihanna, need I go on? The fact is that wigs have evolved tremendously from those mop looking hats that some of our grandparents wore. Today you can get a wig to match whatever need you have. Whether its long, short, able to go up in a ponytail, or lay flat with baby hair, wigs have evolved to be just as versatile if not more than your natural hair.
Second myth for wigs is that wigs look extra fake. I mean really where are people getting this stuff from? Just like many things a wig can be a great investment. The better quality wig the more you have to spend, but in the end it's all worth it to get the look of flowing natural locks. Please always remember the old saying "You get what you pay for." If a super natural looking wig is what you're seeking go with a high quality full lace or frontal lace wig. These wigs you can part anyway you would like just like your own natural hair.
The final myth I would like to talk about is that everyday women can't get away with wearing wigs. If you like sew in extensions, wigs are definitely for you. I mean who doesn't want to transform there entire look based on your mood, or outfit, or occasion.
